Project Manager BrightVine is looking for a Project Manager to lead nonprofit software and technology projects. This role is responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, communication, and Customer expectations across multiple active engagements. The Project Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned Customers and will work closely with BrightVine consultants, developers, product team members, leadership, and Customer stakeholders to keep projects organized, on track, and aligned to the agreed scope of work. This is a Customer-facing role that requires strong project discipline, clear communication, excellent follow-through, and experience managing software or technology projects for nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities Manage full project lifecycles from kickoff through completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closeout. Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, status reports, meeting notes, decision logs, risk logs, and resource plans. Serve as the primary day-to-day Customer contact, providing clear updates, managing expectations, documenting decisions, and communicating risks, blockers, and next steps. Lead internal and Customer-facing meetings, including kickoff meetings, recurring status meetings, planning sessions, and closeout discussions. Coordinate BrightVine consultants, developers, product team members, and Customer stakeholders to ensure work is assigned, tracked, and completed. Monitor project scope, budget, timeline, hours, and resource utilization to identify risks early and keep projects on track. Manage project issues, dependencies, escalations, and scope changes with a proactive and practical approach. Support change orders, renewals, invoicing coordination, project handoffs, and other project-related Customer communications. Maintain accurate, organized project documentation that is easy for internal teams and Customers to follow. Qualifications 4+ years of project management experience in nonprofit software implementation, data, integrations, reporting, or related nonprofit technology projects. Experience managing full project lifecycles, including planning, forecasting, budget tracking, resource coordination, risk management, issue management, change management, and closeout. Ability to manage many projects at the same time while staying organized, responsive, and calm under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings, provide clear updates, document decisions, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working under billable hours, utilization targets, project budgets, or professional services delivery expectations. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, solve problems, and follow through in a remote, fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology, product, sales, and delivery teams. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, HubSpot, or similar business and project management tools. Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce, Virtuous, HubSpot, or other nonprofit CRM platforms. Experience managing data migration, integration, reporting, CRM implementation, or software development projects. Experience supporting scopes of work, change orders, renewals, invoicing, project financial documentation, or Customer communications. Experience working in a remote professional services organization.
