Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHelps lead practice with a schedule of activitiesAttends all practices/games/competitionReports to the Activities Director and/or Head Coach any problems or concernsAttends meetings as required by Activities DirectorAssist in the care of equipment and facilitiesAssist in collection, inventory, and storage of equipment and uniformsPlans banquet and awards for the athletes, facility improvements, equipment to be purchased, schedule improvements, etc.Supervisory DutiesSupervises all athletes at contests and locker roomQualifications Education/ExperienceCoaching experience preferredAthletic/sport experience in High School and/or College preferredGood health & physical condition must be able to lift 50 poundsKnowledge of Kearney School District and MSHSSA guidelinesCertificates, Licenses, Registrations CPR and First Aid certifiedMissouri Teacher Certificate and/or DESE Substitute CertificateSkills and Abilities ComputationTry out scoring proceduresThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
