Recruiting Manager (Austin)
The BWC Recruiting Manager serves as the operational backbone of the recruiting function, bridging the gap between sales and recruiting to ensure consistent, high-quality candidate delivery. This is a player-coach role suited for an experienced recruiter who is ready to build systems, develop talent, and drive team performance — without losing touch with the core work that we do.Key Responsibilities:Training & Recruiter DevelopmentOnboard new recruiters on tools, ATS (Ceipal), processes, and best practicesFacilitate weekly skill-building sessions covering sourcing, screening, and candidate engagementListen to recruiter calls and provide structured, actionable feedbackBuild and maintain a recruiter playbook for consistent executionWorkflow & Capacity ManagementAssign job orders from sales representatives to appropriate recruiters based on skillset and capacityMonitor recruiter workload and reprioritize based on urgency and client needsSet and track daily and weekly activity expectations (submittals, calls, pipeline health)Maintain ATS integrity and enforce data hygiene standardsQuality Control & PerformanceReview candidate submittals before they are sent to clientsTrack key metrics: fill rate, time-to-submit, submittal-to-interview ratioIdentify and address bottlenecks in the recruiting-to-delivery pipelineHold regular one-on-ones with recruiters to review performance and set development goalsSales & Recruiting AlignmentLead or participate in daily job order intake with sales representativesTranslate client requirements and expectations into clear recruiting directionEscalate or reprioritize when client needs shift or delivery is at riskServe as the primary operational point of contact between the sales and recruiting teamsQualifications:5+ years of recruiting and management experience, preferably in a staffing or agency environmentDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, or mentor peersStrong understanding of sourcing strategies, recruiter KPIs, and ATS management (ideal to have experience in Ceipal ATS)Excellent communication skills — able to work across sales and recruiting functionsOrganized, process-oriented, and comfortable holding others accountableExperience with high-volume or deadline-driven recruiting environments preferredWhy Work at BWC?Compensation is structured as a base salary plus a performance-based payment tied to recruiting team outputOne of Austin's fastest growing companies and ranked #6 Top Temporary Staffing Firm in 2025Recently named one of America's Best Recruiting Firms by Business InsiderRecognized on the Inc. 5000 for eight years401(k) with employer matchHealth insurance8am to 4pm work hours with remote FridaysCatered lunch once a weekComfortable, casual dress code10 company holidays in addition to employee PTORegular company happy hours and team outingsSmall team environment that allows for collaboration and hands-on development
