Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Accountant based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing project-related financial transactions, preparing budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring compliance with all financial procedures. The role includes managing accounts payable/receivable tied to specific projects, reconciling project accounts, generating financial reports, and assisting project managers with financial planning. The position requires coordination between multiple teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting. Qualifications Strong understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, cost tracking, and accounts reconciliationProficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of project accounting principles and best practices within the construction industry is preferredExcellent organizational, analytical, and time management skillsStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and team membersBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrevious experience in project accounting or similar roles within the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus
