Machine Vision Engineer
Job Summary:We are looking for a Measurement Systems Software Engineer to develop and support software used in industrial measurement, inspection, and machine vision systems. The role focuses on C#/.NET development, software integration, hardware communication, and production deployment.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain software using C#/.NET.Build software for measurement, inspection, and machine vision systems.Integrate software with cameras, imaging equipment, motion systems, I/O, and other hardware.Support software builds, releases, deployment, and system integration.Troubleshoot software and integrated measurement systems.Create technical documentation and software specifications.Train engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.Work with distributed and multi-process software applications.Use AI-assisted/agentic coding tools to improve development, testing, and productivity.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable production solutions.Required Skills:Strong experience with C#/.NET software development.Experience with software integration and distributed systems.Knowledge of Git, GitLab, version control, and build/release processes.Experience with software deployment and troubleshooting.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Preferred Skills:WPF development.Machine vision / image processing.Experience with cameras, imaging hardware, motion control, or measurement equipment.OpenCV, HALCON, LabVIEW, or similar tools.Experience with computer vision or machine learning.Knowledge of databases, containers, or high-performance computing.Experience using AI coding/agentic development tools.Education:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field preferred.
