Position Description:
Compounders are responsible for the blending of weighed raw materials to make a finished product with the highest quality and done in a timely manner. This position will work in conjunction with other departments, such as Operations and MFG to ensure we process and execute all orders in timely fashion.
Essential Functions
Ensures weights, measures and raw materials are managed appropriately to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
Visual quality control checks on batches to ensure it meets our high standards.
Learn Blend Entry and Materials management through ERP system.
Inventory Cycle Counts to ensure balances
Washing dishes and lab materials as needed.
Downpacking blends into finished goods containers.
Sanitation of equipment, removal of hazardous waste into respective containers.
Follow SQF SOPs and Procedures
Other duties as assigned.
Maintain a safe work environment
Review completed production documentation (batch records, log books, etc.) for quality and compliance.
Maintain records and a clean environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
Complete non-routine jobs as assigned by Production Manager, Compounding Supervisor, or Lead Compounder
Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality and Purchasing.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work
Qualifications
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude;
attention to detail, and maintain good personal hygiene.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of a background check
Experience Required:
This position is entry level, no experience required
1-2 years in food & beverage manufacturing preferred
**Shifts Available:
Shift 1: Mon- Fri 6am- 2:30pm
Shift 2: Mon- Fri 2pm- 10:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
