Physical Therapist - School Setting in O Fallon, MO

A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in O'Fallon, MO. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver essential therapeutic services and support to students from diverse backgrounds with varying physical needs.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized physical therapy goals aligned with students' educational plans.Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.Provide direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their functional and mobility needs.Conduct evaluations and assess progress, preparing quarterly reports on goal achievement.Create and maintain an efficient schedule to manage caseload effectively.Offer consultation and guidance to staff regarding physical therapy strategies and student support.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials suitable for school-based services.Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or educational environment preferred.Strong understanding of K-12 educational requirements and special education processes.Ability to manage caseloads ranging from 30 to 60 students weekly, adapting to varied student abilities.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.Location and Schedule:Position is based in O'Fallon, Missouri.Full-time schedule, 36 hours per week, 7 hours per day.Contract duration: ASAP start through May 22, 2026.
