Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionOur Downtown Columbus client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation in compliance with policies and proceduresProduce internal financial analysis of balance sheet and income statement analysis, as compared to prior periods and to budget, and/or standard monthly reporting package for management reviewCreate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accuratelyBe involved with due diligence, integration activities with acquired companies, technical accounting research, and other business issuesProvide assistance and support to the Accounting ManagerQualifications:Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance3+ years of accounting experienceSolid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statementsStrong attention to detailSelf-starter and works well independently but is also able to take direction
