Maintenance Tech

Job Description Aurora Material Solutions, a leader in polymer manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech to join our growing team. If you have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be the opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as required.- Perform repair-type maintenance on equipment, as required.- Order and pick up parts when needed.- Coordinate larger maintenance projects with outside sources.- Make process improvements when necessary.- Log maintenance projects and preventative maintenance.- Maintain spare parts inventory.- Maintain clean work environment.- Communicate with other maintenance, production, warehouse, and lab personnel. What We're Looking For:- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Two years production maintenance experience (including facility and machinery maintenance including troubleshooting, machinery startup and installation, preventative maintenance programs and spare parts inventory experience).- Aptitude in both mechanical and electrical maintenance (including PLC controls).- Proven attention to detail, initiative, and reliability.- Ability to lift up to 70lbs without assistance.- Willingness to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and moving machinery.- Willingness and flexibility to work across all three local facilities as business needs require.
