Matchmaking Coordinator
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Matchmaking Coordinator to support our Matchmaking team in delivering an exceptional, high-touch experience to both clients and candidates. This role serves as a critical partner to our Matchmakers, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, polished communication, and efficient coordination across all aspects of the matchmaking process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and brings a strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and service excellence. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate with sophistication and clarity, and uphold the elevated standards synonymous with the Selective Search brand. Core ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Client & Candidate SupportCommunicate with candidates via email and phone in a professional, polished, and brand-aligned mannerAssist in delivering a high-touch, concierge-level experience throughout the matchmaking processMaintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactionsMatchmaking & Research SupportConduct database searches to identify potential client matches for presentationsSupport candidate recruiting efforts, including research, and ensure candidate profile completionAssist in the creation and refinement of candidate and client presentationsDraft and edit biographies and supporting materialsConduct reputation analyses and background research as neededAdministrative & Operational SupportProvide detail-oriented, deadline-driven support to MatchmakersManage calendar scheduling and coordinationMaintain accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce CRMComplete data entry and database management tasks QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or related fieldExceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft polished, client-ready correspondenceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretionProfessional, poised demeanor with a commitment to high-level client serviceProactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentPreferredExperience with Salesforce CRM or similar database systemsExperience in a client-facing, service-oriented, or high-touch environment Work ArrangementThis is a hybrid position with the following on-site and travel expectations:Day-to-day responsibilities performed from home office/remote location4-5 visits annually to Chicago headquarters for team meetings, training, and collaboration Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryCollaborative, high-performance team environmentComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & 401K Company OverviewFounded in 2000, Selective Search is North America’s leading luxury matchmaking firm, serving an elite clientele of high-net-worth individuals by curating access to the continent’s largest proprietary network of quality candidates.
