Are you a sharp, driven paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment? We're looking for a Pre‑Suit Paralegal to join our personal injury team and play a pivotal role in building strong cases before litigation ever begins. You'll be the engine behind our pre‑suit operations — opening insurance claims, communicating with clients and insurance carriers, requesting medical records, bills, and liens, and coordinating demand letters with our attorneys. Most importantly, you'll proactively manage your caseload, staying ahead of deadlines and keeping clients informed every step of the way.What We're Looking ForPrior personal injury paralegal experience, preferably in a pre‑suit or insurance claims settingStrong organizational skills with the ability to handle a high‑volume caseloadExcellent communication skills and sharp attention to detailA proactive, solutions‑oriented mindsetResponsibilitiesOpen and set up new insurance claims upon client intakeServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent updates and gathering necessary informationCommunicate with insurance companies and adjusters to facilitate the pre‑suit processRequest, track, and organize medical records, medical bills, and lien documentation from providersFollow up on outstanding records and documents to ensure timely receiptCoordinate with supervising attorneys on the preparation and submission of demand lettersReview and organize case file documents to ensure completeness and accuracyProactively monitor case progress, identifying and addressing delays before they escalateMaintain detailed and organized case notes within the case management systemEnsure deadlines and follow‑up tasks are met across a high‑volume caseloadQualificationsPrior paralegal or case management experience in personal injury law, specifically on the Plaintiff's sideFamiliarity with the pre‑suit process, including insurance claims, medical record requests, and demand lettersStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle a high‑volume caseload and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients during what is often a stressful and difficult timeStrong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence with insurance carriers and medical providersProficiency in case management software and document management systemsSharp attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to managing case filesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced legal teamCompensationBase salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
