Duties Prepare espresso beverages for customers, meeting Cafe Alma quality standards. Dial in espresso and make real-time adjustments to grind size, dose, yield, and extraction time to maintain proper balance and flavor. Monitor shot quality and correct espresso pulls during service to ensure consistency Steam milk with proper texture and temperature; maintain consistency in presentation. Execute drinks accurately and efficiently during high-volume service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the espresso bar and beverage stations. Restock milks, syrups, cups, lids, and bar supplies throughout the shift. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service Follow health and safety guidelines related to food handling and serving Experience Prior barista experience or background in the food industry is required Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation, and serving standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts Ability to work well in a team environment within a café or retail setting Join our team to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while developing your skills in a dynamic café environment.
