BAS Engineer

Title: BAS EngineerLocation: Austin, TXSalary: $80,000 - $90,000Founded in 1987, we are a boutique engineering firm operating globally to support mission critical infrastructure within advanced high tech facilities and data centers. Our teams design, monitor, and optimize the systems that keep digital operations running 24/7. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a BAS Engineer to help engineer, integrate, and enhance building automation and monitoring solutions across complex, high availability data center environments.What You Will Be DoingSupport, configure, and extend BMS/BAS/SCADA systems while developing and optimizing applications, sequences of operation, alarm strategies, and Iconics BMS/EMS graphics, dashboards, reporting, and analytics.Partner with clients to gather requirements and design automation solutions for generators, UPS systems, RPPs, and other electrical/mechanical infrastructure across complex data center environments.Build, customize, and maintain automation applications using SQL, VBA, VB.NET, and Visual Basic, ensuring reliable logic execution and seamless integration with field systems.Implement and troubleshoot TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus, SNMP, and leverage OPC and BACnet/IoT technologies to enable secure, scalable system interoperability.Perform testing, QA, troubleshooting, and performance tuning; create clear documentation, diagrams, and specifications while collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors to uphold best practices.What You Need for This PositionBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.Experience in automation software and systems (BMS/BAS/SCADA) for building management or data centers.Strong understanding of data center electrical/mechanical infrastructure.Ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation, networking, and field device issues.Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, and BACnet.What's In It for YouFull benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k with matching) and more!If interested, please provide an updated resume and salary requirements to:JOSH.SANCHEZ@CYBERCODERS.COMBenefits  Email Your Resume In Word ToJosh.Sanchez@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
