51-200About the RoleThe Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-based independent TK-8 public charter school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support in implementing the educational vision and philosophy outlined in the charter, with a strong focus on fostering a relationship-based school culture that supports joyful, collaborative learning and leadership. This role involves overseeing all personnel matters, academic programs, student progress, professional development, and a wide range of administrative tasks, including finance, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal Executive Director will have a proven track record in project design and implementation, the ability to innovate and lead, and a passion for the school's mission.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in education or public/charter school administration. A valid teaching or administrative credential is also desirable. The role requires a candidate with at least five years of successful educational experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience in a charter school setting and a background in Public Waldorf Education are highly valued. The Executive Director will be expected to have excellent communication skills, personal integrity, and the ability to make sound decisions while effectively managing operations.Travel Percent
