VP Asset Management

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee a diversified portfolio of U.S. commercial real estate loans across multiple property types and capital structuresMonitor asset‑level performance, borrower reporting, market conditions, and covenant complianceIdentify emerging credit and market risks; maintain watchlists and develop proactive mitigation and resolution strategiesPerform ongoing re‑underwriting, collateral valuation reviews, and downside risk analysisAct as primary post‑closing contact for borrowers and key counterpartiesReview and approve borrower requests including consents, waivers, draw requests, and lease approvalsEvaluate, structure, and execute loan modifications, extensions, and restructurings when neededCoordinate with legal counsel on documentation amendments, enforcement actions, and resolution strategiesPrepare loan‑level and portfolio‑level performance summaries and internal reporting materialsConduct cash‑flow analysis, stress testing, and scenario modelingPartner with internal investment, originations, capital markets, and finance teams to ensure effective portfolio managementWork with third‑party servicers, consultants, and property‑level stakeholdersContribute to the enhancement of asset management policies, procedures, and reporting standardsQualifications8-12+ years of experience in commercial real estate credit, asset management, or loan restructuringsProven track record managing transitional, construction, bridge, or value‑add commercial loansDeep understanding of loan documentation, covenants, and capital stack structuresStrong analytical and financial modeling skills, including cash‑flow and stress analysisDemonstrated ability to exercise sound credit judgment in dynamic market environmentsExperience working across portfolio, borrower, and transaction management workflowsComfortable operating autonomously with senior‑level responsibility and accountabilityBachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred
