Server/Waiter

Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused servers to join our team at Oriental Taste / Oriental Flavor. As a server, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not required, and prior restaurant experience is necessary. Experience in Asian cuisine is also a bonus. Compensation: Base wage of $6.75 per hour plus tips. If tips and base wage fall below $16 per hour, pay will be brought up to $16 per hour. Free meals during shifts. Responsibilities: Greet customers and present menus. Take orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and friendly manner. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions. Process payments and provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience. Assist in wrapping to-go orders and answering phone calls when the restaurant is not busy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and workstations. Ensure tables are properly set and stocked with necessary items (utensils, napkins, condiments). Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations. Handle any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and care. Requirements: Previous restaurant serving experience required. Experience in an Asian restaurant is a plus. Mandarin speaking skills are a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. Must be 18 years of age or older.
