Elevate the health of our communityRelocation Assistance ProvidedNew Grads WelcomeAbout the PositionAs a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for accurately delivering radiation therapy treatment while assisting the physicist in calibrating equipment, preparing isodose curves, preparing wedge, and compensating filters and date computer estimation. At Harris Health, you will assist or function as radium curator in addition to administering radiotherapy treatments to patients. At times, it may be necessary for you to apply simple surgical dressings. To ensure the highest standard of patient care and monitor for optimal results, the Radiation Therapist also supervises the follow-up program and observes the patient's clinical progress in order to consult with physicians regarding treatment.About Harris Health SystemHarris Health is a nationally recognized health system comprising three teaching hospitals and an extensive network of ambulatory care centers serving the people of Harris County, Texas, since 1966.
