Applications Analyst

Position DescriptionThe Applications Analyst will be the primary contact for the Office of the County Engineer (OCE) to maintain system-level configuration. It will be responsible for the support of both internal and external users. The Analyst will be required to be highly responsive and able to prioritize end-user needs in the best interest of OCE. The Analyst will liaise with Trimble (eBuilder) and Tri Riga and end users to implement any required account-level modifications, including changes in data fields, reports, dashboards, and templates. The Analyst will assist OCE with project initiation and provide relevant assistance and resources to project managers and any additional duties as necessary. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for supporting the capital and facilities project management teams as well as assisting in the design and configuration of enterprise solutions and responsible for the ongoing support for these solutions.Maintaining and supporting the OCE Program Management Information System (PMIS)Work on the assigned support requests captured in the tracking systemFollow up with users on support calls for more clarification and resolve the system issueRevise and update system training materials and guidelines documentationTaking ownership of system issues and seeing problems through to resolutionProviding technical support to usersCreating new projects in the systemDeveloping or modifying standard reports in the systemProviding support and delivering training to internal and external usersManage all aspects of the project related to systems and technology and their specific application for the division.Work with the projects team and perform requirement analysis, define solutions for identified Tririga requirements and problem solving, and prepare detailed training modules.Hands-on experience with Tririga platform and application, including data migrations and/or integrations.All other duties and responsibilities as assignedHarris County is an Equal Opportunity Employerhttps://hrrm.harriscountytx.gov/Pages/EqualEmploymentOpportunityPlan.aspxIf you need special services or accommodations, please call (713) 274-5445 or email ADACoordinator@bmd.hctx.netThis position is subject to a criminal history check.
