Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This position includes per diem. The individual we are looking for must be a self-starter and able to perform the tasks below with very little or no supervision.Qualifications and ResponsibilitiesEstablishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agenciesRepresents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quicklyNegotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assetsThorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to Right of Way operationsAble to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervisionMapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems)Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings)Ability to navigate multiple client databasesAbility to conduct online researchDemonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database useAble to work well in a team environment or an individual roleEducation/Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Right-of-Way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines;Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduatePay Rate:This is Full-Time, 6 day per week, $350 day rate per days worked. Pay rate will be based on experience, applicable skill set and technical capabilities.
