Toddler Teacher

PAY WILL COMMENSURATE ON PREVIOUS CENTER EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A TODDLER TEACHER. CDA OR ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE IN ECE A PLUS. SCHEDULE: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 815 AM TO 515 PM. ABOUT US: Ages and Stages Early Learning and Child Development Center, LLC is located at 3124 Levans Road, Coplay, PA 18037, directly across from the Ironton Elementary School, in the Parkland School District. We have been in business since 2011. We are an established childcare center in the community, with a KEYSTONE STAR 2 rating. CENTER PHILOSOPHY: Our center is licensed for 68 children. We are a smaller community- based childcare center, that offers smaller-sized, individualized classrooms, that promote teacher enhanced child interactions relating to the child's needs. JOB DUTIES: Follow the center's daily schedule Responsible for Toddler routines, hygiene, supervision and care Implement the center's age - appropriate curriculum and activities EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma A minimum of 2 years, 2500 hours of previous childcare experience is required through past center, babysitting or nanny work A minimum of 1 year of previous center experience working as a Lead Toddler Teacher is preferred 2 References in childcare MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVERY DAY, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY - - 815 AM TO 515 PM MUST have or be able to obtain the following PENNSYLVANIA clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal Background History Check, FBI Fingerprints, National Sex Offender Registry Cert Must have a current (less than 1 year) or be able to obtain: Physical and TB Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation AGES AND STAGES BENEFITS: Paid days off Paid holidays Paid vacation After 90 WORKING days---receive a Medical Stipend Reimbursement of ($150.00 a month) towards your own paid health insurance plan Paid professional development Paid First Aid / CPR certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Are you able to work Monday through Friday, 815 am until 515 pm?
