The facility features a 13-bed emergency department with collaborative support from general surgery, orthopedics, labor & delivery, and hospitalist teams, along with advanced telemedicine capabilities including Telestroke and Tele ICU services.Opportunity:Physician - Emergency MedicineJob Details:• Provide emergency medicine services in a combined ED/UC • Handle approximately 20 patient encounters per shift• Work in a Level 4 trauma facility with comprehensive support services• Collaborate with on-site general surgery, orthopedics, and hospitalist teams• Utilize Telestroke and Tele ICU services for enhanced patient care• Access to UW helicopter services for critical transport needs• Both day and night shifts available with ongoing coverage needs of 14-16 shifts per month• 24-hour support services include anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, OR response, orthopedic surgery, and radiology• Board certification required with ACLS and ATLS certifications• Must be licensed in Wisconsin or hold IMLC• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days• Lodging available at Best Western Portage with easy access to Madison airport (MSN)Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
