SitelogIQ is seeking a Senior Vice President of Business Development in the South Business Unit to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand market presence throughout the region. As SitelogIQ continues its growth trajectory, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader who embodies a customer-centric approach and has a proven track record of developing high-performing teams and driving complex solution sales.The Senior Vice President of Business Development will lead sales efforts across key vertical markets including municipalities, K-12 schools, higher education, state and local government, industrial, and commercial sectors. This role focuses on delivering large-scale infrastructure and energy solutions through strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and operational leadership.This position requires an accomplished leader with experience managing sophisticated sales cycles, developing strategic partnerships, and driving accountability across a regional sales organization.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Business Unit President, the Senior Vice President of Business Development will lead, coach, and develop business development personnel while driving revenue growth and market expansion.Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives and revenue goalsIdentify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth initiativesDrive market expansion and increase market share across target verticalsSales Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales teamEstablish performance expectations, coaching plans, and professional development initiativesPromote accountability and adherence to established sales management disciplinesBusiness Development & Client RelationsInfluence and support sales strategy across all sales phases including targeting, qualification, solution development, and contract negotiationsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with strategic clients and industry partnersDeliver executive-level presentations and communicate effectively with decision-makers including:College presidentsSchool superintendents and boardsCity managers and mayorsC-suite executivesOperational & Financial PerformanceMaximize secured sales, profitability, revenue growth, and return on assetsManage sales budgets and allocate resources effectivelyMaintain accurate forecasting, business planning, and performance reportingEnsure proper CRM utilization and data managementMarket Intelligence & CollaborationAnalyze sales metrics, market trends, and competitive positioning to drive strategic decisionsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, engineering, and customer service teamsStay informed on emerging industry trends, technologies, and customer needsQualificationsBachelor’s or Associate’s Degree required; MBA preferredSeven years of sales experience in the MUSH market or correlating experienceThree years of experience working in the building technology marketStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven success in complex sales and customer relationship managementDemonstrated leadership experience managing large territories and high-performing teamsStrong presentation and executive communication abilitiesAbility to analyze complex data and communicate actionable insightsSelf-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and mentoring skillsHigh emotional intelligence and relationship-building skillsWork Environment & TravelStandard weekly work hours are expectedRegional travel throughout the state and surrounding areas is required, including occasional overnight travelWeekend work is not anticipatedNo agencies pleaseMore About SitelogIQAt SitelogIQ, we’re focused on creating a great environment for our team first so that it is more energizing and rewarding to focus on creating a great customer experience.
