Python Backend Developer

Location: Plano, TX — Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Contract Duration: 12 months, with potential extension

Work Authorization: US Citizen / GCCandidates must already be local to Plano, TX. Relocation candidates will not be considered.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong Python backend development skills. Hands-on experience developing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs. Strong Python programming and scripting capabilities. Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases. Experience developing or supporting applications on Microsoft Azure or other cloud-based environments, with Azure preferred. Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Experience with Jira and Agile software development practices. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including log analysis. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices. Understanding of three-tier architecture and scalable software design. Experience with software testing, code reviews, and configuration management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
