Cloud Solutions ArchitectLocation: Remote (DC Area preferred)Company: SST-Spectrum Software Technology (sst-it.com)Status: Contingent upon awardSST-Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to support the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This role leads high-level architecture decisions to modernize OPM’s critical systems through agile, hybrid-cloud, and scalable technology services.ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Oversight:Lead system and solution architecture decisions for a large-scale federal program.Design scalable hybrid-cloud environments using FedRAMP-authorized platforms.Act as the primary technical advisor to Government stakeholders on cloud strategy.Modernization & Migration:Guide legacy system refactoring and the transition to cloud-native models.Implement API modernization and oversee CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains.Ensure architectures meet rigorous security, scalability, and performance metrics.Security & Compliance:Ensure all designs meet FISMA, NIST 800-53, and Section 508 standards.Collaborate with cybersecurity and data teams to maintain compliance and performance. QualificationsCitizenship & Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.Education: BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.Experience: 10+ years of professional IT experience.Federal Background: Previous experience supporting Federal IT systems is required.Technical Proficiency: Success with hybrid-cloud (FedRAMP), legacy refactoring, and DevSecOps.Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with FISMA, NIST 800-53 controls, and Section 508.Compensation & BenefitsSST offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
