Area Manager

Multi-Unit Restaurant DirectorWe are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly operational Multi-Unit Restaurant Director to oversee a portfolio of 10 restaurant locations across four distinct concepts in the Houston market. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, team development, guest experience, and overall brand execution across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proven hospitality operator with strong multi-unit leadership experience, exceptional financial and operational acumen, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This individual must be comfortable working closely with ownership and executive leadership while maintaining accountability across all operational metrics and performance standards. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations and performance across 10 restaurant locations and four unique concepts Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers, Assistant General Managers, and operational leadership teams Drive financial performance including sales growth, labor management, food and beverage cost controls, profitability, and operational efficiencies Analyze and report on all key operational metrics, KPIs, budgets, forecasting, and performance benchmarks Conduct regular meetings with ownership/principals to review operational performance, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities Ensure consistency in service, culinary execution, cleanliness, hospitality standards, and overall guest experience across all locations Develop and implement operational systems, processes, and accountability structures Partner closely with culinary, HR, marketing, finance, and training departments Identify opportunities for growth, operational improvements, and increased profitability Lead recruiting, retention, coaching, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives Ensure compliance with all health, safety, licensing, and company policies and procedures Maintain a strong presence in the restaurants while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality excellence Support new openings, renovations, concept development, and special projects as needed Qualifications7–10+ years of multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience Proven experience overseeing multiple restaurant concepts and high-volume operations Strong background in upscale dining, polished casual, hospitality groups, or chef-driven concepts preferred Demonstrated success managing large teams and developing operational leaders Advanced understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor analysis, and financial reporting Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience presenting operational reporting and performance analysis to ownership or executive leadership Hands-on operator with strong floor presence and attention to detail Proficient with restaurant systems, reporting tools, and operational technology platforms Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for exceptional candidates What We’re Looking ForA confident and highly respected hospitality leader Strong operational discipline balanced with people leadership Strategic thinker who can also execute at a high level day-to-day Financially sophisticated and metrics-driven Passion for hospitality, culture, and team development Someone who leads with professionalism, urgency, and accountability Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive executive compensation package Performance-based bonus structure Health and wellness benefits Paid vacation and holidays Growth opportunities within a dynamic hospitality organization Collaborative and entrepreneurial leadership environment This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned multi-unit hospitality executive to join a growing restaurant group with strong ownership, diverse concepts, and a commitment to operational excellence and guest experience.
