In this role, you will facilitate key customer relationships by taking orders, scheduling drivers, and managing a high volume of driver and vendor calls to ensure timely, cost-effective transportation and smooth daily operations. Direct a heavy flow of inbound and outbound phone calls with drivers, field operators, and vendors to deliver real-time route updates and scheduling changes. Coordinate daily shipments, schedule driver routes, and dynamically adjust transit plans to prevent operational delays and maximize efficiency. Act as the main point of contact to troubleshoot driver challenges on the road, address delivery delays, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Log dispatch metrics, compile daily workflow reports, and track delivery performance to help streamline team operations.
