About the roleTech Critic is looking for a client facing Systems Engineer who can own day to day infrastructure support and lead projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS. This role is an escalation point for internal teams and a trusted technical partner for executive stakeholders. Clear communication is a must. You should be able to explain technical topics in plain language, set expectations, and drive solutions from start to finish.Before you get down to all the “Formal Technical Details”, I was told to add this by my “boss”. We are looking for someone that is a Tier 2 Technician, if you have worked at an MSP, you will love this because you will only work with one client versus a 100 and you should ABSOLUTELY apply! This is an in-person role, at the office in Lewisville. What you will doServe as an escalation point for Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS related issuesLead and support infrastructure projects, from planning through execution and handoffManage and support Microsoft 365 services and best practices across the environmentAdminister Azure with a strong focus on identity and access through Entra IDImplement and maintain SSO integrations using Entra ID with third party applicationsAdminister Windows Server and Windows workstations, including standardization and troubleshootingSupport AWS environments including EC2 based resources and related services, if you have no experience, we will train you.Manage connectivity between on premises infrastructure and AWS resourcesMonitor and improve AWS cost optimization, with an eye on performance and spendSupport and improve network operations across a multi national environmentCollaborate closely with the IT team, provide leadership, and mentor where neededCommunicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to executive teams and principalsRequired qualificationsStrong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to speak to technical and non technical audiencesSolid hands on experience with Microsoft 365 and AzureStrong Entra ID experience including user identity management and SSO integrationsWindows Server and workstation administration experienceAWS experience with familiarity in EC2 deployed environments, if not, we will train you.Experience connecting and securing networks between on premises and remote cloud resourcesNetworking and network management experienceProject management experience, comfortable running tasks, timelines, and stakeholder updatesAWS Cloud Practitioner certification at minimum required if not already obtained within 90 days.
