Candidates with strong Java and Spring Boot experience will also be considered.Preferred Front End technology: Angular. React experience is acceptable, especially when paired with a Python back end.Strong hands-on experience with AWS is mandatory.Candidates should demonstrate stable project experience and a consistent work history. Profiles with employment verification are only preferred.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the product team to build applications that enable our users to be more effectiveContribute to design and implementation of these solutions leveraging industry standards and best-practicesDevelop scalable back-end systems to integrate with existing user platformsSupport team in shepherding releases through the engineering process through to productionRequired SkillsBachelor''s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar5 -7 years of experience building production quality web-based multi-tier web applicationsSignificant experience building restful web services in Java (Spring), Python (Django/Flask/Fast), or Scala(Play)Experience integrating with web front-ends with modern JS frameworks like AngularExperience building data platform or data analytics web applicationsExperience with SQL in big data environments, writing and analyzing complex queriesFamiliarity with building on Amazon AWS services, and using the AWS console and command line toolsExperience working in agile scrum methodologies using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) development practicesExperience writing automated unit, component, and integration testsAble to adapt to evolving business priorities and requirementsPreferred SkillsExperience with data pipelines integrated with Machine Learning modelsHands on experience with data pipelines and big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or similarFamiliarity with Apache Airflow or similarExperience using AI throughout the development lifecycle, such as leveraging AI code assistance, spec-driven development, using skills to speed up development workflows
