OurSQF-certified facilityproduces popcorn, roasted nuts, chocolate panned products, and specialty snacks for national brands as well as our own consumer brand,Pacific Popcorn .We are a growing, team-oriented manufacturing company focused on producing safe, high-quality products while creating opportunities for employees to grow with us.Position SummaryJaspen’s Inc. is seeking adetail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician with HACCP trainingto help ensure our products meet the highest standards offood safety, quality, and regulatory compliance .This role works closely with production and warehouse teams to monitor manufacturing processes, perform quality inspections, verify documentation, and support our SQF food safety system.The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working bothon the production floor and with quality documentation .ScheduleMonday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: Occasionally required if production or quality work needs to be completed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerformin-process quality checksduring productionVerify productweights, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and appearanceConductfinished product inspectionsprior to releaseMonitor production to ensure compliance withGMP, HACCP, and SQF food safety standardsComplete quality documentation and batch records accurately and in real timeVerifylot codes and traceability recordsConductpre-operational and sanitation inspectionsIdentify, document, and reportquality deviations or food safety concernsWork closely with production teams to maintain quality standardsSupportinternal audits and third-party food safety auditsAssist with corrective actions and quality investigations when neededOther tasks as assignedQualificationsRequired:HACCP Certification or formal HACCP training1–3 years experience infood manufacturing, quality assurance, or food safetyStrongattention to detail and documentation accuracyKnowledge ofGood Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Ability to identify quality issues and follow proper corrective proceduresComfortable workingon the production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsBasic computer skills for quality documentation and reportingPreferred:Experience working in anSQF-certified facilityKnowledge ofallergen control and traceability systemsExperience conductingpre-op inspections and sanitation verificationExperience supportingfood safety or third-party auditsBilingual English / SpanishWork EnvironmentFood manufacturing facilityCombination of production floor and documentation workStanding and walking for extended periodsAbility to lift up to40 lbs occasionallyFast-paced production environmentWhy Work at Jaspen’sGrowing Pacific Northwest food manufacturerSQF-certified facility with strong food safety cultureOpportunity to grow with the companyTeam-oriented and supportive work environmentLocation:Monroe, WA
