Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking teachers and educators to join our San Mateo camp at Sea Cloud Park.Educators help campers ages 4-13 learn baseball and softball fundamentals while developing teamwork and confidence.Learn more about our program at:www.sfgiantscamps.comPay: $25/hour (Professional Educator Rate) Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 8 hours per day Season: June 8 - August 14, 2026 Campers: Ages 4-13Position OverviewAs a Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Educator, you will guide campers through daily baseball and softball activities that combine skill instruction with mentorship and character development.You will work closely with Site Directors and fellow staff members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience.Core ResponsibilitiesLead campers through baseball and softball drills and gamesTeach fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, and fieldingEncourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviorMaintain a safe and organized camp environmentProvide constructive feedback during drills and gamesIdentify teachable moments to help campers growWhat We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates typically:Have experience working with children ages 4-13Are comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentalsEnjoy teaching and mentoring young studentsBring positive energy and enthusiasmCommunicate well with children and staffDemonstrate reliability and professionalism Ideal backgrounds include: Elementary School TeachersMiddle School TeachersPhysical Education TeachersSubstitute TeachersCredentialed educatorsTeachers who have coached or played baseball/softballSchedule & CommitmentMonday-Friday scheduleApproximately 8-hour camp daysCamps run weekly from June 8 - August 14, 20263-5 week commitment preferred Candidates must have reliable transportation and pass a background screening.
