This position is responsible for the handling and management of bulk and non-bulk ingredients in and out of the warehouse.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Load and unload flatbed trucks - assisting with tie down, departure preparation, and paperworkLoad and unload bulk trucks weigh in/out, setup of receiving area, and paperworkVerify incoming and outgoing loadsReceive incoming POs into the DAX systemMaintain, clean, and organize warehouse, dock, and receiving areaManage finished product inventory as requiredCommunicate ingredient levels to procurement departmentsAssist with finished product packaging when needed including bagging, stacking wrapping and labelingBe responsible for preventative maintenance on forkliftsMaintain and clean outside groundsAdhere to all safety, SFSF and company policiesParticipate in required trainings and meetingsMaintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basisPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications include:Ability to read and write in EnglishAbility to perform basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing and perform basic conversions.Must be computer literate and have the ability to learn custom software programsExperience and education requirements include:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)OR minimum of one (1) year of related maintenance/mechanical experience and/or trainingPhysical demands include:Employee is regularly required to operate forklift for extended periods of time.Employee is required to have hand eye coordination and good depth perception.The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and is required to use hands to handle, grasp or feel; will occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds from floor to waist.The employee will intermittently be exposed to the outdoor temperature.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
