Java Software Engineer

CodeValue is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a large-scale project delivered by CodeValue for a government organization in Israel.The role involves developing and maintaining enterprise information management systems, working with search-based solutions, NoSQL databases, open-source technologies, and GenAI capabilities.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering diploma, or a BA degree combined with a 300+ hour technology course in Information Systems, or graduate of a technological unit in the Israeli military.4+ years of software development experienceProven experience with Java developmentExperience working with REST APIsExperience working with NoSQL databasesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree/certificationExperience developing enterprise information management systemsExperience with the design and implementation of systems based on enterprise search enginesExperience working with open-source development models and technologiesFamiliarity with Lotus Notes / Domino / Web and Client environmentsExperience integrating GenAI capabilitiesCandidates residing in Jerusalem and the surrounding area are preferred
