Position: Account Manager, Corporate Consulting Location: New York, NY or Los Angeles, CACompany Background: Founded in 1994, Genesco Sports Enterprises (GSE) is a sports marketing consulting agency exclusively representing brands in the development and activation of their global sports sponsorship strategies. We are headquartered in Dallas, TX with offices across the country including New York, Charlotte and Los Angeles.Job Description:GSE is looking for a creative-thinking, strategic and self-motivated individual to become part of our team. This person will be responsible for day-to-day support and management of a top-tier client’s sports-related programming and marketing initiatives. This person will work closely with our client’s sports properties, athletes and partner agencies to activate programming across the NFL, U.S. Soccer, MLS and others. Responsibilities: Lead the management and tracking of sponsorship assets and funds for assigned propertiesPrepare strategy, activation plans and recap presentations for meetings internally and externallyTraffic creative approvals for leagues, teams and athletes working with Client and other agency partnersLead the planning of campaigns, events and activations - working with broader GSE account team and stakeholdersLead fulfillment and designated responsibilities at Client’s sponsored properties during events Navigate property rules and regulations to ensure timely feedback, including guidance on how to leverage any property and athlete pass-through rightsSupport recommendation, negotiation, management and fulfillment of talent dealsSupport the execution of Client programs, contractual assets, promotions & experiential activations of select properties and eventsSupport general account management, projects, events and other ad-hoc needs across all Client propertiesSupport ideation, approval and integration of Client’s brand partnerships into sponsored programsDevelop informational documents that outline the rules and guidelines of property activation by Client partnersAssist with evaluating team sponsorship proposals and renewalsQualities required for role:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 3-6 years related work experience Experience working with sports sponsorships required - NFL experience preferredPositive, solutions-oriented attitude with strong work ethic is a mustStrong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and follow-throughProficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Power Point & Excel skills are strictly requiredAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to lift at least 25lbsAbility to travel occasionally (including weekend and holiday events)Hybrid role with four (4) days in-office required Compensation:· Salary range of $70,000 - $90,000; commensurate with experience· Full benefitsNo Relocation Provided
