SUMMARY Schedules and sells needed service work in the service department while providing excellent customer service to internal and external personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES Schedules appointments, communicates with customers to determine the nature of mechanical problem to their vehicle Schedules service work in the service department and for selling additional services to customers Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications using maintenance menus Obtain customer and vehicle data Write up repair orders and clearly communicate to customer the estimate of repair Build and maintain good relationships with customers, to encourage their loyalty and obtain service recommendations Follows up with the progress of each repair order and contacts customers regarding any changes Handles telephone inquiries regarding automotive service work in progress Delivers vehicle to customer and is available to answer any questions REQUIREMENTS Excellent customer service skills Highschool Diploma/GED Valid drivers license with a company acceptable driving record Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts Must be able to do basic math like add, subtract, multiply, divide Maintain professional appearance CRESTMONT AUTOMOTIVE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER AND DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE.
