Join a team where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your work helps maintain and enhance the critical infrastructure that powers communities across the nation.ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryThe QAQC Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for large-scale electrical data center construction projects. This role ensures all work complies with design specifications, customer requirements, industry codes, and company standards. The QAQC Manager will lead a team of QAQC Technicians and coordinate closely with project management, field operations, commissioning teams, and clients to drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain project-specific QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans in alignment with company standards and project requirements.Lead QAQC kickoff and coordination meetings with project and client stakeholders.Oversee all inspection activities, including installation verification, workmanship checks, and system testing for electrical systems such as power distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation and compliance.Ensure adherence to NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and applicable codes and standards.Documentation & ReportingManage QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), test results, and turnover packages.Maintain accurate inspection logs and coordinate final quality turnover documentation to support commissioning and client closeout.Utilize QAQC tools for inspection tracking, issue management, and documentation control.Coordination & LeadershipProvide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to QAQC field technicians.Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.Support and participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned initiatives.Interface with clients, general contractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure alignment and compliance with quality expectations.Continuous ImprovementConduct audits and performance reviews to monitor adherence to quality standards.Identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance the company's QAQC program.Support training and development for field teams to reinforce best practices and code compliance.Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsMinimum 5–7 years of QAQC experience in electrical construction, preferably in data center, mission-critical, or industrial projects.Proven experience managing large-scale electrical QAQC programs from installation through commissioning.Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and local jurisdictional codes.Familiarity with electrical testing procedures including megger, torque, continuity, insulation resistance, and ground testing.Proficiency with digital QAQC management platforms (e.g., Fieldwire, Procore, CxAlloy).Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.Working knowledge of commissioning, turnover documentation, and quality processes in the data center environment.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Problem-solving and decision-making mindset with a focus on quality and accountability.Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.Work Environment & Physical DemandsThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
