This individual is responsible for maintaining existing as well as developing new customer relationships for both manufactured product as well as field service opportunities.Key Accountabilities• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated expertise in CRM management.• Developing effective marketing tools that are industry focused and builds customer relationships.• Utilizing REV’s strategic plan, this position is responsible for increasing REV’s exposure within the industry, anticipating and capitalizing on market evolution, and networking within industry circles to identify clients and opportunities for the company to secure new markets and clients.Key Responsibilities• Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell products and services to current and new customers.• Drives retention and growth of customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. • Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. • Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management tool and sales pipeline to provide seamless information and communications between the sales organization and management.• Maintains a consistent cadence of communication with customers to ensure client satisfaction and anticipate future needs.• Advises internal teams on product and service improvements/suggestions based on client feedback.• Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals. • Contributes to the development of a sales plan tailored to achieve REV’s strategic growth targets.• Seeks to expand sales channels by fostering strategic partnerships and exploring opportunities with current and prospective clients. • Provides leadership to all departments with respect to marketing, sales and all business development activities.• Presents business development pipeline update during monthly review with managers and ownership.• Manages online activities such as internet sales requests and monitors opportunities from bid and tender sites.• Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager to ensure REV`s goals and objectives are met.• Performs all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in REV’s Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual. • Performs duties according to REV’s quality system procedures and work instructions. Qualifications• Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering highly preferred.• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar business development position within the commercial and industrial electrical industry is required.• Technical knowledge and background in the engineered to order electrical product industry is required. • Experience calling on the electrical contractor, consultant and large end user is required.• Strong organizational and presentation skills.• Enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated.• A “hunter” sales mentality, driven to provide exceptional customer service support and experience in developing new customers in a highly competitive business environment is required.• Strong electrical technical background and Microsoft Office computer skills is required.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.• A collaborative team player with a professional and positive approach and notable willingness to learn and develop new skills.• Capable of traveling – 25% of the time.• Must have a valid driver’s license.
