Job Description Job Title : EchocardiographerLocation : Tyler, TXIn personJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic medical team. In this vital role, you will assist physicians during complex procedures such as cardiac catheterization, diagnostic evaluations, and interventional treatments within a state-of-the-art cath lab environment. Your expertise will support patient care at a Level I Trauma Center and Level II Trauma Center, ensuring precise imaging, adherence to aseptic techniques, and accurate physiological assessments. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, sonography, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols to deliver exceptional diagnostic and interventional services. Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort while maintaining strict aseptic techniqueOperate advanced imaging equipment used in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization proceduresMonitor vital signs continuously during procedures, recognizing and responding promptly to physiological changesAssist physicians with diagnostic evaluations, including angiography and ultrasound-guided interventionsMaintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and physiological parametersEnsure all equipment is properly sterilized, calibrated, and functioning optimallySupport emergency interventions in high-pressure situations typical of trauma centersAdhere to safety protocols related to radiation exposure, infection control, and patient handlingCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology, emergency medicine, and radiology staffStay current with advancements in interventional techniques, sonography, and trauma care standardsExperience:Proven experience working in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting within a Level I or Level II trauma center environmentDemonstrated proficiency in interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterizationStrong background in telemetry monitoring and physiology assessment during complex interventionsKnowledge of anatomy relevant to vascular, cardiac, and trauma-related structuresFamiliarity with medical terminology used across radiology, cardiology, and emergency medicine disciplinesExperience with diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography and angiographyAbility to operate sophisticated imaging systems safely in high-acuity environmentsPrior exposure to emergency medicine protocols within trauma centers is highly desirablePay: $2,500.00 - $2,840.00 per weekExperience:Pediatric cardiology: 2 years (Required)Location:Tyler, TX 75799 (Preferred)Work Location: In personTravel healthcare, ContractCompany DescriptionWe are a veteran owned company and offer exciting opportunities with better payCompany DescriptionWe are a veteran owned company and offer exciting opportunities with better pay
