Sr. Software Engineer (UI / Frontend – React Focused)Location: Folsom, CA (Remote / Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months (Long Term)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Frontend-focused Software Engineer with strong expertise in React UI development and working knowledge of backend systems. This role is primarily focused on building scalable, high-quality user interfaces, while collaborating closely with backend teams and understanding API integrations.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop responsive, high-performance UI applications using ReactTranslate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfacesIntegrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend servicesCollaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless data flow and system integrationWrite clean, maintainable, and testable codeParticipate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimizationWork within Agile teams and contribute to sprint deliverablesMust Have Skills6–10+ years of software development experienceStrong hands-on experience with React JS (primary skill)Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON dataGood understanding of application architecture and UI design principlesSolid debugging and problem-solving skillsBackend (Supporting Skills – Not Primary)Basic to intermediate experience with Java / Spring Boot or similar backend frameworksUnderstanding of RESTful services, microservices architectureAbility to read/debug backend code when neededGood to Have (Optional)Experience with state management (Redux, Context API)Exposure to CI/CD pipelinesExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, Postman)Familiarity with SQL and databases (Oracle/Postgres)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
