Java Software Engineer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Mid-Level Java Software Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based web applications supporting the NASA SEWP Program. The developer will work closely with software engineers, database administrators, system administrators, and business stakeholders in an Agile development environment.Required Qualifications2+ years of professional Java development experience.1+ year of SQL development experience, preferably with Oracle.1+ year of experience working in an Agile development environment.Hands-on experience with JSON and XML.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Spring/Spring Boot and/or JSP.Full-stack development experience.Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience developing REST APIs and web services.Experience with application testing, deployment, and production support.
