This will be a paid, 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026]The Environmental Sustainability & Compliance Intern will support environmental programs across our U.S. facilities. This role provides hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, environmental data management, and corporate sustainability initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. The intern will work alongside internal stakeholders to strengthen compliance systems and support operational sustainability goals.Pay: $23/hrResponsibilitiesAttend environmental compliance and sustainability team meetings, documenting key takeaways and tracking follow-up actionsSupport maintenance of environmental compliance tracking tools and internal databasesAssist with organization and standardization of regulatory documentation and internal file systemsHelp prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations that communicate environmental compliance status and sustainability initiativesConduct regulatory and sustainability research to support new and existing facilitiesProvide general support for environmental programs related to air, water, stormwater, and waste complianceAssist with data collection and reporting activities tied to corporate sustainability goalsSupport process improvement initiatives, including evaluation of workflow tools and emerging technologiesContribute to special projects, including those using AI, that enhance operational efficiency within the Environmental Sustainability & Compliance teamKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work with structured data (Excel tracking sheets, compliance matrices, document libraries)Interest in environmental regulations, sustainability, or environmental engineeringComfortable working in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams)Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlinesCuriosity about emerging technologies and AI applications in business operationsStrong written communication skillsExperience/EducationActively enrolled in an undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred)Previous project, class, or internship experience in regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, or corporate sustainability preferredEdgeConneX believes inclusion – of thought, backgrounds and experiences – affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
