Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer will complete engineering, design, and analysis of electrical systems within company products with a focus on component integration into a functional system. Components could include control panels, sensors, various pumps, pneumatics, etc. This role is highly collaborative with Mechanical, Process, and Controls Engineers.Responsibilities+ Perform electrical engineering, design, and analysis.+ Identify problems and propose operational solutions to complex projects and tasks.+ Document product designs and ensure the release of accurate designs to manufacturing teams.+ Communicate the nature and status of work performed to appropriate management.+ Assist mechanical and process engineers in the selection and qualification of new and replacement components.+ Input drawings and design packages into the PLM system and release via the ECO process.+ Conduct design reviews and post-mortem analysis of designs.+ Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.+ Manage projects with minimal guidance.+ May direct the work of others within the department.Essential Skills+ Electrical engineering+ Electrical design+ AutoCAD skills required+ Solidworks 23 highly preferred+ Technical knowledge of: 220V 3-phase inputs, sensor components, driving pumps, various signal inputs and outputs to PLC, HMIs and electrical layouts, control panel design, electrical system design+ Exceptional Excel skills are mandatoryAdditional Skills & Qualifications+ BS in Electrical Engineering (equivalent work experience or combination of education/experience will be considered)+ 3-5 years of engineering or related work experience+ Knowledge of design processes and ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, practices, and procedures+ Working knowledge of low-noise, mixed signal design highly preferred+ Ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues and customersWork EnvironmentOnsite full-time in Tualatin, OR, working on a team that collaborates highly with Mechanical, Process, and Controls teams.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $105000.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
