Job Description Golf Shop Assistant – Presidio Golf CourseSan Francisco, CA | Part-Time / Full-Time AvailableLocated inside the iconic Presidio National Park overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio Golf Course offers a unique opportunity to work at one of the most scenic and historic golf facilities in the country. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Operations team as Golf Shop Attendants.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, customer service, golf, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Golf Shop Attendants are often the first and last interaction our guests have during their visit, making this role a key part of delivering an exceptional guest experience.Position SummaryThe Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for assisting with the daily operation of the golf shop and outside golf services while providing outstanding customer service to members, guests, tournament participants, and visitors. Responsibilities include checking in golfers, managing tee times, operating the point-of-sale system, handling merchandise sales, and ensuring smooth first tee operations throughout the day.This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic hospitality environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests in a friendly and professional mannerCheck in golfers and process green fees, cart fees, merchandise purchases, and other transactionsAnswer phones and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general course informationManage tee sheet flow and help maintain pace of play throughout the dayCoordinate first tee operations by organizing groups and pairing players when neededCommunicate daily course conditions, policies, and operational updates to guestsAssist with tournament and event operations as neededPromote golf shop merchandise, upcoming events, instruction programs, and club initiativesHelp maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areasAssist with inventory, merchandising displays, and restocking productFollow opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliationWork collaboratively with golf operations, outside services, food & beverage, and events teamsQualificationsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced hospitality environmentGolf knowledge preferred, but not requiredRetail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plusAbility to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedulesPositive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professional appearanceWhy Work at Presidio Golf Course?Work at one of the most unique golf destinations in the countryStunning setting inside the Presidio National ParkOpportunity to grow within KemperSports, a leading golf and hospitality management companyFun, team-oriented culture with a focus on hospitality and guest experienceEmployee golf privileges and merchandise discountsExposure to tournaments, special events, and premier golf operationsIf you are passionate about hospitality, golf, and creating memorable experiences for guests, we would love to hear from you.
