This position is ideal for candidates with experience or exposure to manufacturing and production environments, particularly within food processing facilities. The role involves quality documentation management, communication with laboratories and suppliers, regulatory support, and coordination with the Japan HQ regarding QA/QC matters.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Regulatory SupportCommunicate QA/QC-related matters with the Japan officeSupport food regulatory compliance initiatives and audit preparationCoordinate product and raw ingredient testing with third-party laboratoriesPrepare laboratory submission forms and maintain testing recordsMaintain certificates of analysis (COA), product specifications, quality statements, and policiesSupport client questionnaires and quality documentation requestsCoordinate with co-manufacturers regarding quality procedures and samplingAssist with label registration and certification maintenanceMaintain supplier quality documentation and certificationsConduct and document internal quality trainingAdministrative & Coordination DutiesProcess QA-related invoices and documentationOrganize and maintain quality records and filesCommunicate effectively with suppliers, laboratories, and internal teamsSupport continuous process improvement initiativesQualificationsExpert or high business-level Japanese required (reading/writing/speaking)Business-level English requiredBachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field preferredMinimum 1 year of QA/QC experience preferredManufacturing or food processing industry experience/exposure highly preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and general office softwareValid California driver’s license requiredIdeal CandidateExperience working in manufacturing or food production environmentsAble to communicate professionally with Japan headquarters and external vendorsDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling documentation-heavy tasksStrong bilingual written communication skills in both Japanese and English
