The company offers a dynamic work environment that values growth, teamwork and strong communication. Role Description This is a full-time, CDL A Truck Driver position based in Wayland, MI. As a CDL A Truck Driver for PAPER TRANSPORT LTD will be responsible for the safe operation of trucks/trailers, punctuality in picking up and delivering loads. Additional duties include daily vehicle inspections, compliance with transportation regulations, ensuring load securement, and maintaining accurate driving logs. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible schedules and participate in effective communication with the dispatch team and clients. PTL drivers are assigned there own trucks; no slip seating. Drivers are paid a percentage of each load transported. Most PAPER TRANSPORT LTD drivers are home each night. Qualifications Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and a clean driving record Experience with vehicle inspections, safe driving practices, and adherence to safety protocols Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and load securement procedures Proficiency in maintaining accurate driving logs and records Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with dispatch and clients Ability to meet physical demands, including sitting for extended periods and handling freight A minimum of 2 years experience as a CDL A Truck Driver is required A commitment to reliability, customer service, and maintaining company standards for safety
