Financial Risk Internship Our Financial Risk Internship has been designed so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like. As an intern, you will join one of our flagship trading services LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients. To be eligible, you should be a master's student either in a gap year or interested in completing an end-of-studies internship, enrolled in an engineering school or university with a focus on finance and computing. We will work with you during the recruitment process to understand your strengths and interests to determine the right pathway for you. Role responsibilities include: Implement Python tools for the estimation of risk parameters used in margin calculations Produce reporting on results Automate data loading processes Contribute to continuous process improvement Contribute to margin replication and stress testing We are passionate about recruiting people who want to understand the full breadth of our organization, how it fits together, how it functions and are interested in playing a part of our development, as it grows and diversifies. A demonstrable interest in financial markets and the banking sector, developed through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities, with a particular curiosity about financial risk and how markets operate. Basic knowledge of financial markets, particularly bonds, repo and CDS Strong Python skills (SAS as a plus) Proficiency with databases, VBA, Excel, and SQL Strong analytical capabilities You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology tools, and have an interest in learning financial data tools Being able to see the bigger picture and make connections between different things is a great skill to have. Our teams work quickly and things can change fast, so you'll need to show you can focus, bounce back from setbacks, and roll with whatever comes your way. Recruitment Process: The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume. The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work at LSEG. The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style. The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises further information is provided at the point of invite.
