We look forward to hearing from you!We are seeking a Linux/Hypervisor Engineer to support a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative through the end of the year.Key Responsibilities:Perform Linux OS upgrades from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 8.10/9.x.Migrate virtual machines from VMware environments to Nutanix.Support overnight and weekend change windows as part of an extended operations team.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, virtualization, and migrations.Requirements:Strong experience with Linux administration (RHEL 7/8/9).Hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix migrations.Ability to work evenings, nights, and occasional weekends (typical maintenance windows start between 5 PM - 10 PM EST).Must be comfortable with after-hours support and schedule flexibility.Remote within the US (onshore only).MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
