This move provided Endurant with a robust presence in the southeastern U.S. This significantly strengthened Endurant's operational capacity and market penetration in the region. About the Role: We are hiring a growth-oriented Roofing Department Manager with embedded Business Development responsibility to build and scale our Little Rock roofing division. This is a builder role, not a maintainer role. You will be responsible for: Driving new revenue through direct business development Managing and executing profitable roofing projects Building a scalable, high-performance roofing operation 1. Business Development (Non-Negotiable) Actively generate new roofing opportunities through: Insurance agents Property managers Commercial accounts Trade partners Leverage personal network to drive immediate revenue Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities Execute weekly business development activity targets (calls, meetings, referrals) Collaborate with the Endurant BD team and utilize company systems Track all opportunities in CRM and maintain accurate pipeline visibility Expectation: You are directly responsible for originating a significant portion of division revenue. 2. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion Develop and execute a localized market growth strategy Drive revenue across: Insurance restoration Retail roofing Commercial projects Improve: Close rates Average job size Total production volume Identify and penetrate high-value market segments 3. Project Management & Execution Oversee roofing projects from sale through completion Maintain control of: Job quality Timelines Customer experience Profit margins Ensure scopes are accurate, approved, and production-ready Maximize supplements and change orders Prevent margin erosion through disciplined execution Compensation Note: Project-based earnings are tied to profitability and execution quality—not just volume. 4. Leadership & Team Development Recruit and build a high-performing team as volume scales Establish clear KPIs for sales and production roles Hold team members accountable to performance metrics Develop internal talent and leadership bench strength Address underperformance quickly and effectively 5. Operational Systems & Scalability Implement repeatable processes for: Estimating Production Scheduling Quality control Reduce cycle times and increase installation capacity Build infrastructure to support multi-crew operations 6. Financial Ownership Own and manage the roofing division P&L Drive gross margin through: Strategic pricing Vendor management Cost control Monitor job costing in real time Ensure efficient contract-to-cash processes 7. Quality & Brand Protection Maintain high standards of workmanship Ensure OSHA and safety compliance Protect and enhance the Endurant brand reputation Resolve customer issues without sacrificing margin Qualifications 7+ years roofing experience (restoration preferred) Proven success in both sales/business development AND operations Experience managing projects and/or teams Strong understanding of insurance claims and supplements CRM discipline (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar; Xactimate preferred) High accountability, low ego, results-driven Ideal Candidate Profile Hunter mentality with operational discipline Competitive and quota-driven Able to self-generate opportunities consistently Strong closer with financial awareness Executes with urgency and ownership Comfortable being measured on results, not activity Performance Expectations (Year 1) Generate $X–$X in total roofing revenue Self-source a defined % of total revenue (set this explicitly) Maintain or exceed X% gross margin Build a repeatable pipeline of qualified opportunities Establish initial team structure for scale Compensation Structure Base salary Participation in Endurant Business Development commission plan Project-based compensation tied to: Gross profit Job performance
