Description Provides direct client care services in all assigned areas that includes treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Assists leadership in the development and maintenance of standards of practice, development of quality services and new programs. The Senior Mental Health Counselor-Masters is a resource for other clinicians and demonstrates advanced clinical skill. Other professional roles include but are not limited to consultation, education, critical inquiry and direction/mentoring of personnel. Plans and provides client, family, peer and community education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians or ARNP responsible for the care of the client. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or other related health field. Alaska Masters Social Worker License upon hire. Or Alaska Clinical Social Worker License upon hire. Or Alaska Professional Counselor License upon hire. Or Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
