Administrative Assistant CPA Firm

Job Description Garner, Adams & Associates, PLLC, an established Certified Public Accounting and Advisory Firm located in Richmond's West End, has an immediate opening for a full-time Executive Assistant. This position will provide administrative support to the Director and overall office support. This will include a wide variety of duties and candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. The successful candidate must be punctual, dependable, energetic, and detail oriented. Candidates must also demonstrate exceptional client service skills, be a team player, and work well independently.Normal Daily Responsibilities and Duties:· Answering the phone and responding to client inquiries in a professional manner· Greeting clients & scheduling client appointments· Assist director in marketing efforts and providing ongoing communications with clients.Position Requirements:· The ability to manage client interactions with courtesy and professionalism at all times.· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite· Excellent interpersonal, oral, & written communication skills· The ability to work efficiently and effectively with little minimal supervision.· Manage sensitive information in a professional manner.Additional Responsibilities and Duties During Busy SeasonAssist with the following:· Client document management in support of our paperless office environment· Organizing, filing, and distributing incoming correspondence to appropriate accounting staff.· Tracking and communicating the progress of client tax returns.· Assembly of client tax returns.Preferred Experience and Knowledge:· Prior administrative support experience required.· Experience in a professional service firm preferred.Company Description Garner, Adams & Associates, PLLC is an established Certified Public Accounting & Advisory Firm conveniently located in Richmond's West End near Short Pump.
