Through regenerative farming demonstration and training, innovative research, and collaborations, Wolfe's Neck Center works to advance agriculture on our own farm, regionally, and nationally - to accelerate holistic change in food systems and mitigate the effects of a changing climate.Position OverviewThe Revenue & Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accounts receivable process and the daily recording and balancing of revenues from multiple points-of-sale. The role will also be responsible for bi-monthly payroll, as well as other assignments.This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will work closely with both internal teams and external customers to ensure the timely collectionof outstanding balances, precise recording of revenues, following up on any discrepancies, as well ensuring a smooth and accurate payroll transmittal while maintaining all necessary documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily download of the prior day's revenues; review, balancing and the recording of all salesreceipts, donations & contributions in the Quickbooks Financial SystemGenerate and send accurate invoices for goods, services, and event rentals, communicating regularly with internal stakeholders on aging items and payments received, and ensuring all A/R invoices are issued through the Finance DepartmentWork closely with internal teams to resolve any issues impacting accounts receivable; provide support for audits and financial reviewsMonitor and record incoming payments to appropriate accounts, and reconcile payment discrepanciesReview timecards and employee expense reports, and connect with various departments on anymissing punches or incomplete informationWork closely with HR Coordinator on new hires, terminations, and status changes to ensuresmooth onboarding/offboarding, as well as processing any pay rate or deduction changes with priorapprovals from appropriate manager(s)Process bi-weekly payroll in accordance with all applicable federal and State wage & hour laws -Work closely with Paper Trails and the iSolved system to ensure data integrity and accuracy, aswell as ensuring compliance with relevant updates or changes in wage & hour/labor lawsIssue yearly payroll calendar with pay period dates and deadlines specific to transmittalMaintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, communications, and accountactivities; ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsWork with the Director of Finance to ensure evidence of review is maintained for all financialsystem entries and for payroll processingActive participation in the month-end close process and monthly balance sheet reconciliationsActive participation in yearly financial auditOther projects and duties as assignedQualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required toperform this job successfully. Hybrid option may be available. As a full-time employee of Wolfe's Neck Center, thisposition is eligible for benefits including employer-paid health insurance premiums, dentalinsurance, paid vacation and holidays, and our retirement savings plan.
